The Suunto t6 records your heart rate, altitude, and speed and distance while cycling or running (with the optional PODs). Whatever your current fitness level, by using Suunto t6 and its training software, you can plan a program that maximizes the effectiveness of your training and enables you to meet your goals.

Suunto t6 accurately records how your body performs during exercise, enabling later analysis and planning with Suunto Training Manager software. It is the first tool to directly measure the effect of each training workout and relate it to your personal fitness level to tell you how effective your exercise load was.

It includes time, training assessment, synthesis of 7 body functions, heart rate monitor, average HR, training timers, altimeter, graphic barometer and analysis software. On the PC, you will see a complete speed profile of your run or ride, and you can compare it to your body parameters and altitude.

More about EPOC - Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption: Suunto t6 measures the time interval between two heartbeats in milliseconds. Suunto Training Manager software uses this data to analyze the effect of your training and to calculate several other body parameters such as EPOC, respiratory rate and energy expenditure.
