| How PC Coach Helps You Coach |
|
PC Coach Scholastic gives you up to 30 seperate
user calendars. For each athlete (or each group of athletes),
you will set up a training calendar. You can use one of our professional
training plans to set up the schedule,
or create the schedule yourself by placing workouts on the client's
calendar.
Once you have created the user's training schedule,
you can print out the schedule, to give to your athletes or email
it to your athletes (see Remote Coaching for more details on the
email feature). Either way - your athletes get the details: for
each day it will give them the workout type, duration, and any
special instructions. Your athletes will know exactly how to perform
the workout(s).
After the athlete has completed the workout,
you (or they) can enter their completed workout data into PC Coach.
This allows you to compare the workout they actually did vs. the
suggested workout, and lets you see if the training needs to be
modified. If your athlete uses a downloadable heart rate monitor,
such as the Polar S610, S720, or S710
- they can download that information directly into PC Coach as
well.
PC Coach allows you to do long term analysis,
by using its many graphs and reports. You can graph total time
spent training, or distances your athlete has run, or cycled this
week, month, or year. Compare totals from this year to last, or
compare the athlete's latest effort to his/her personal best.
By keeping track of their progress, you will detect what works
best for your athletes.

| Save Time When Setting Up Training Schedules
|
|
PC Coach saves you time two ways. You can set
up a schedule in just minutes by using one of the many PC Coach
training plans - like Coach Benson's Running
Plan for high school cross country coaches. Using a PC Coach
training plan, you can set up a schedule especially for your athlete,
and even personalize the plan by adding or deleting workouts after
it is placed on the calendar.
If you wish to create a workout schedule from
the ground up, PC Coach has tools to make your job quick and easy.
Set up one week of training, then use the "Save a Week"
feature to save that week under a unique name. This saves the
week as a template, that you can use over and over again. You
can import that week later in the schedule (and modify it if needed),
or import the week to another athlete's schedule. You can even
have workouts be variable based on the athlete's race times or
Maximum heart rate. By creating and saving training weeks, you
will build your own personal training library, that you can use
to create schedules for all your athletes!

| Remote Coaching |
 |
Using the internet to coach athletes is a reality. PC Coach
Scholastic's Remote Coaching allows you to send training
schedules and instructions to your athletes who also use
PC Coach. And, when he or she has completed the scheduled
workouts, they can send them back to you for tracking and
analysis.
Remote Coaching uses your email program to export and import
schedules from PC Coach. It is the easiest way for coaches
and clients to communicate. For more information on the
RCS feature, click
