Serious tools... for serious athletes.

PC Coach and a Polar S-series Heart Rate Monitor give athletes a complete system for running, triathlon and cycling training.

The Polar S-series has a model with the right features for you.

For Triathletes:
The Polar S625X heart rate monitor was designed specifically for triathletes and serious runners. With it's small and lightweight footpod, you can track your speed and distance while running. By adding the speed sensor for the bike, the Polar S 625 gives you speed and distance on the bike as well. Plus, it has all the advanced HRM features you need - such as 3 different heart rate limits, alarms, altitude, and the ability to download your data to your PC. The S625X is compatible with any of the Polar bike sensors including speed, cadence, or power. (The Polar S725X comes with the cycling sensor, but can add the S1 footpod to get speed and distance for the run as well.)

Don't need speed and distance on the run? Choose from the heart rate monitors listed below for cyclists. You can use any of these monitors along with the Mike Pigg Triathlon Plan to create your workout schedule, log your workouts, and graph your training data.

Make sense out of all your heart rate data...

PC Coach integrates with the Polar S-series heart rate monitors to give you the most complete training system available and the best analysis of your training and your progress.

You can set up your timers and heart zones before your workout with the PC Coach quick setup feature. Then, download your workout data after your workout. The data can automatically log your scheduled PC Coach workout, or add a new exercise to the calendar.

Polar Monitors For Cyclists:
The Polar S725X, S720i, and S520 heart rate monitors are designed specifically for cyclists.

All of these monitors include a cycling speed sensor (which gives you speed and distance while cycling), all have an optional cadence sensor, and all download your workout data to your computer.

The Polar 520 uses the SonicLink (microphone) interface and the S725X and the 720i download using Polar's new InfraRed (IR) technology. The IR technology is faster and more reliable, so if you are planning on downloading every workout, we recommend you choose either the S725 X or S720i.

For the ultimate in cycling information, add the optional power sensor to either the S725X or the 720i. The power sensor will tell you what your power output is during your workout. It measures pedalling power, left/right balance, pedalling index (how evenly power was produced during a pedal revolution), speed, cadence and distance. After your ride, your power data is downloaded along with heart rate, speed and cadence for a full picture of your cycling workout. The Polar power sensor is just $349.95, and you can purchase it here..

For more information on any of our Polar heart monitors, see our Polar HRM page.

Cyclists can use any of our monitors along with the PC Coach Cycling Plan to get the most out of your heart rate training. Both plans create a detailed training schedule for you, based on your previous experience, current fitness level, and goals for this training season.

For Runners:
Runners have many great choices in the Polar S-Series - the Polar S625X, Polar RS200sd, S610, S410, and S210.

For the ultimate in running data, the Polar S625X gives you speed and distance on the run, as well as altitude, 3 target zones with alarms, 3 countdown timers, intervals, time in/above and below your target zone, and much more! It can store up to 99 hours worth of data, so you can train all week before downloading if you like. Best of all, this data will all download to your PC after your run, so you can look at your workout data in more detail.

The Polar 610 is a great choice for runners who do not need the speed and distance feature. The S610i gives you all the great HRM features you need, such as 3 target zones with alarms, 3 countdown timers, intervals, time in/above and below your target zone, plus the ability to store multiple workouts, and fast, reliable Infrared downloading for just $259.95. Click here for more info on the Polar 610i .

For runners looking for a compact heart rate monitor with stopwatch features, the Polar S210 is an excellent choice. It's features include: 3 target zones with alarms, 3 countdown timers, intervals, time in/above and below your target zone, and much more! The Polar 210 is a great monitor at just $179.95!

The Polar S 410 offers all of the features of the S210 - plus it lets you download your workout data to the computer using the SonicLink download. By downloading your data, you can automatically record your training data into your PC Coach software, and see a heart rate graph of your workout. Looking at your heart rate during the course of your workouts lets you see how your heart responded to the workout over time. Tell me more about the Polar S410...
