The Polar Speed Sensor measures
speed and distance with wireless technology. After the ride,
download this data to the computer along with your heart
rate data. The S720i, S725, and S520 heart rate monitors
come with one speed sensor, so this accessory unit is for
a second bike. If you are buying the Polar
S625X HRM, you will need to purchase a speed sensor
to record cycling information.

The Polar Power Sensor is
compatible with the Polar S720i, S725, S625X, and S710 heart
rate monitors. The Power Output Sensor measures pedalling
power, left/right balance, pedalling index (how evenly power
was produced during a pedal revolution), speed, cadence
and distance. After your ride, all your power data is downloaded
along with heart rate, speed and cadence for a full picture

The Polar S1 Footpod is the same running speed and distance sensor that comes packaged with the S625X and the RS200sd, and it's now available as a separate item. It is compatible with the S725X so add the S1 footpod and get running pace and distance with that monitor. Or enjoy the convenience of a second speed and distance sensor or replace a lost one.
