Biometrics, Inc. was founded in 1992. Since the beginning, we have worked to bring the best in training software and training technology to athletes.

We first developed the PC Coach software logbook in December of 1993. Since then, we have enhanced PC Coach by continuously adding features and updating the program. Early in 1994, we added coaching logic through the many training plans available for Cycling, Running, and Triathlon. With each training plan, we have chosen an experienced world-class coach to develop the training logic for the plan - giving every athlete equal access to the world's greatest coaches.

As more athletes began to use heart monitors in their training, we added HRM connectivity to PC Coach. We began by importing data from the Polar Vantage HRMs. Then, in 1997 we invented the Sonic Link technology, which allowed affordable downloading of HRM data through your computer's microphone. This technology was adopted by Polar Finland, for use in the Polar S410, S510, and S520 SonicLink monitors.

Today, in the PC Coach software, we have grown our HRM support to include the entire line of S-Series downloadable monitors. We now download heart rate monitor data directly from the Polar S625X, S725X, 710, 720i, S610 i, S520, S510, S410 and RS200 heart rate monitors. In addition, we have recently added support for the Timex Speed and distance monitors (through the Timex data recorder) - and the Polar Power sensor. In the future, we will support other downloadable devices as well.

We are an authorized dealer for Polar heart rate monitors, Timex Bodylink products, Suunto timing products, Garmin GPS speed and distance products, Highgear altimeter watches, Aquasphere goggles, and many more training products.

Most importantly, we don't just download training data, we help athletes throughout the entire training cycle. We allow athletes to create a detailed training plan (using one of the training series plans), uplink those exercise definitions to their HRM, complete the workout as prescribed, download the workout data, and have that data be automatically be logged in their PC Coach logbook.
